Executive Producer for Qdos Entertainment (Pantomimes) Ltd
As joint founder of Qdos Entertainment with Nick Thomas, Jon has produced over four hundred pantomimes and written over one hundred and fifty. He created two new adaptations of Snow White and Peter Pan in the early nineties which have now been seen by nearly four million people. Indeed, Jon’s adaptation of J M Barrie’s Peter Pan has been so successful; he was honoured to have been asked by Great Ormond Street Hospital for it to be the new version performed by schools and drama groups.
Jon re-wrote a production of Aladdin in Mandarin, and took it on an amazing ten week tour of China!
Jon is delighted to still be part of the Qdos family, producing four pantomimes this Christmas and acting as creative consultant for them to Celebrity Cruises.
Jon has created many other successful shows such as Boogie Nights, Happy Days, Simply Ballroom, All the Fun of the Fair, numerous tours of The Chuckle Brothers and three series for BBC TV.
Since forming his own production company in 2012, Jon has produced tours for The Osmonds, David Essex, appeared on Broadway in his own play Truth, Lies, Diana and created Illuminasia –the World’s largest indoor illumination theme park, due to open in Blackpool in Easter 2014.
